- Battery Storage: Riser has an opening that fits two CR123/A (NOT INCLUDED) batteries and comes with a sleeve to snugly fit them. The cap applies light pressure to hold them in place. The diameter is also such that it will snugly fit an 18650 (NOT INCLUDED). As 18650 batteries differ in length depending on the specific model, and if they're protected or unprotected versions, you will need to fill in the extra depth with something pliable. No standalone batteries are included with this product.

- Secure Fit: Locking tabs on the side click into the slots on the side of the SBA5 brace while a rear notch locks into the raised portion on the back. This dual interface system ensures a tight fit without forward-to-rear movement. It is recommended to use a flashlight to ensure the tabs are lined up during the install process. To remove, push on the locking tab on one side of the brace to detach and and push it off that side. The riser can then be rotated to get it off.
- Sight Compatability: The height of the riser will make the iron sights unusable. They are intended for use with an optic on top of a carry handle
