To ensure you receive your grains exactly how you want them, please specify your preferences in the notes section on the cart page before checkout. Choose from the following packaging options:

• Packaged all together unmilled
• Packaged all together milled
• Packaged separately unmilled

For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.

Note: Orders without pre-checkout notations will be shipped packaged separately and unmilled.

Briess Carapils® is a trademarked, high-performance dextrin malt designed to improve beer body, mouthfeel, and head retention without impacting flavor or color.

Featuring a clear, glassy endosperm, Carapils® contributes unfermentable dextrins that enhance foam stability and palate fullness, making it ideal for IPAs, lagers, pale ales, and light-bodied styles. Use up to 5% of the grist to significantly boost head retention and body while keeping your beer crisp and clean. Suitable for all-grain and extract brewing.
